Two Trombonists Walk into a Bar

Larry Zalkind and Mark Kellogg trombones
... and the result is not a joke! A variety of music from chant through
the baroque to original compositions (as well as a bit of jazz) will be performed
by these stellar Eastman faculty members. Music for solo trombone, two trombones
and piano, and more - assisted a few guest artists!

Beethoven wrote the words “Must it be? It must be!” in the score of his final
string quartet, Op. 135. The Amendas will pair this work with the composer’s first
published quartet, Op. 18 No. 1, as part of their ongoing “Project Ludwig.”
