Jon Manasse with the Amenda Quartet: Brahms and Bartók
First Muse is thrilled to welcome clarinet virtuoso Jon Manasse to the series - his rich sound will be featured as he joins the Amenda Quartet for the remarkable quintet of Johannes Brahms. The Amendas, known for their recent "Project Ludwig" performances of the Beethoven string quartets, will switch it up a bit with the romantic and energetic Second Quartet of Bartók, plus the engaging Italian Serenade of Hugo Wolf.
